The 3500/40M Proximitor Monitor is a 4-channel monitor that accepts input from
Bently Nevada proximity transducers, conditions the signal to provide various
vibration and position measurements, and compares the conditioned signals
with user-programmable alarms. The user can program each channel of the
3500/40M with the 3500 Rack Configuration Software to perform any of the
following functions:

Rack configuration software: Allows users to program each channel to implement features such as radial vibration, thrust position, differential spread, eccentricity, and REBAM.
Listening channels: 4 channels, configured in pairs for dual-function operations (e.g., channels 1-2 for one function and channels 3-4 for another).
Signal processing: The input signal is adjusted to a static value with user-defined alarm and hazard setpoints.
Alarm monitoring: The monitored parameters are constantly compared to predefined set values, and an alert is triggered for any parameter that is out of range.
Purpose: To provide mechanical protection by comparing monitoring parameters to predefined alarm setpoints, providing critical operational data to maintenance personnel.
