32-channel AI (16-bit, 250 kS/s), 48-channel DIO, PCI multi-function I/O device – PCI-6224 provides analog inputs, associated digital I/O, two 32-bit counters/timers, and digital triggers. The device provides low-cost, reliable DAQ capabilities for a variety of applications ranging from laboratory automation, research, design validation/testing to manufacturing testing. SCC or SCXI signal conditioning modules can be used to add sensors and high voltage measurement capabilities to the device. The included NI-DAQmx driver and configuration utility simplify configuration and measurement.
Features:
16 Type C relays
Up to 2A (250 Vrms/30 VDC)
Up to 50 times/SEC (low level load)
Used for universal switching and control of external devices
250 Vrms contact to coil isolation
The National Instruments PCI-6224 is a universal relay switching module. The module features 16 separate SPDT (Type C) latching relays with very low on-resistance and low thermal offset. Each channel has a normally closed (NC), normally open (NO), and common (COM) terminal.
Multiple PCI-6224 can use a single DAQ device or switch controller in the same chassis. The DAQ device then controls these modules through serial communication on SCXIbus. The PCI-6224 has A power capability of up to 2 A at 250 Vrms or 30 VDC, making the relay suitable for switching, routing, and controlling mid-level signals.
