Definition and working principle:

The flame detector, also known as the photosensitive fire detector, is used to respond to the light characteristics of the fire, that is, to detect the light intensity of the flame burning and the flicker frequency of the flame.

The working principle of RS-FS-9010-03 is to detect the flame by detecting the special wavelength of ultraviolet, infrared and visible light emitted by the flame, and at the same time to identify the flame characteristic flicker frequency.

According to the light characteristics of the flame, there are three main types of flame detectors:

Uv detector: Sensitive to short wavelength ultraviolet radiation in the flame.

Infrared detector: Sensitive to longer wavelength infrared radiation in the flame.

Hybrid UV/IR detector: detects both the shorter wavelength UV and the longer wavelength infrared in the flame.

According to the detection band can be divided into: single ultraviolet, single infrared, double infrared, triple infrared, infrared/ultraviolet, additional video and other flame detectors.
