Composition and structure:
The VME backplane consists of 24 groups of slots.
In slots 1 to 20, the 96 pins of P1 and 32 pins of P2 row B are VME bus specification signals, including VME data, address and control bus signals.
Bars A, C, and P3 of P2 are extended signals, including HDLC, hard drive IDE, public mailbox, 232, 422 ports, and 10M Ethernet ports (including coaxial and twisted pair).
Slots 21 to 24 are disk slots, forming a disk array.
Backplane accessories:
P1 Terminal card BTP1: inserted into the P1 position in slots 1 and 20 to act as the bus terminal.
P2 Terminal card BTP2: inserted into the P2 position in slot 1 and slot 20, it also acts as the bus terminal.
Daisy chain card BRG: inserted in P1 in slots 2 to 18, it is used to interrupt and arbitrate the Daisy chain.
