The FBM217 PO916PW discrete input module provides 32 input channels, each accepting a 2-wire input DC voltage source. The associated terminal assembly (TA) provides discrete inputs of 60 volts AC, 120 volts AC /125 volts DC, or 240 volts AC. The FBM217 PO916PW module performs the signal conversion required to connect the electrical input signal from the field sensor to the module fieldbus
Depending on the type of V/0 signal required, TA includes current-limiting devices, high-voltage attenuation circuits, optical isolation, and external power connections
