【 Function Description 】
The IS200VTURH2BAC board is part of the GE Mark VI Speedtronic system. This control system is used for the control and maintenance of steam or gas industrial turbines.
IS200VTURH2BAC is a primary turbine protection card. It has several features, including:
Control (3) Overspeed trip relay located on TRPx terminal board. There are nine magnetic relays on this board, which are interconnected with three trip solenids. In the TMR system, all nine relays are used. In a simplex system, only three relays are used.
(8) Geiger-Muller flame detector. These are for gas turbine applications only.
Monitor induction shaft current and voltage
Turn off the main circuit breaker/provide automatic generator synchronization.
The turbine speed is measured using a (4) passive pulse rate device.
The IS200VTURH2BAC can be installed in the VME processor rack only when the device is powered off. The plate should be pushed in with top and bottom levers to the seat edge connector. The board is then secured within the rack system using captive screws (top and bottom). The narrow front panel has only these captive screws, a D-shell connector and three LED indicators. Indicators are identified as Status, Fault, and Running.
The board is designed to measure turbine speed from up to four pulse rate signals. This is in a simple application. The board can also be used for TMR applications, but the way the signal is collected is different.
