A6500-UM  NB noise sensor working principle

A6500-UM  NB noise sensor working principle

A6500-UM Noise sensor is a lightweight noise sensor developed by the company after market demand and years of experience in iot sensors. In response to the market demand for noise location monitoring liquidity, noise sensors can be applied to a variety of occasions, supporting a variety of instruments, using international standard communication protocols, can be customized according to user needs.

The structure design is reasonable, and the shell is made of anti-corrosion aluminum alloy, which protects the core sensor and has a longer service life.

Abandoning the bulky and simple traditional sensor, the application of lightweight materials takes into account the improvement of performance and improves the appearance level of the sensor.

The sensor can also be connected with the dust detector and become part of the dust detector to measure noise-related data of the environment under test.

Second, A6500-UM the application of the occasion

A6500-UM Noise sensor is a wide audio range, high intensity dynamic range, easy to operate sound sensor, audio measurement range covers all the frequencies that can be heard by the human ear, is the ideal choice for environmental monitoring, noise quantitative analysis, sound source location, noise control and acoustic research. It can be widely used in the noise monitoring of urban functional areas, road traffic, regional environment, noise sources (construction sites, shopping malls, etc.) and other fields

How it works:

A6500-UM The noise sensor is because the sensor has a capacitive electret microphone that is sensitive to the voice, the electret is opposite to the back electrode, and there is a small air gap in the middle, resulting in an air gap and the electret as an insulating medium, and the metal layer on the back electrode and the electret as two electrodes to form a plate capacitor. There are output electrodes between the two poles of the capacitor. Specifically, the total charge of the electret is constant, when the plate is receded under the acoustic pressure, the capacitance decreases, and the voltage between the two poles of the capacitor will be inversely increased, whereas the voltage between the two poles of the capacitor will be inversely decreased when the capacitance increases. Finally, through the field effect of very high impedance, the voltage at both ends of the capacitor is removed and amplified at the same time, and the voltage corresponding to the voice can be obtained. Because the field effect tube is an active device, it requires a certain bias and current to work in the amplified state, A6500-UM so the electret microphone must add a DC bias to work.
