Bentley speed sensor systems measure the absolute (relative to free space) vibration of a bearing box, housing or structure. The two-wire system consists of sensors, cables, and an optional speed-to-displacement converter.
The Bentley Sensor 9200 Series speed sensor is a two-wire construction with moving coil technology that provides a voltage output directly proportional to the vibration speed of the sensor. Unlike solid speed sensors, moving coil sensors are less sensitive to shock or pulse excitation, making them a better choice for applications. In addition, since they do not require an external power supply, they make portable measurement applications more convenient. In the case speed measurement of high performance, more robust structure. A variety of connection cables connect the Bentley Sensor 9200 to other meters or speed-to-displacement converters. These cables come in increments of 300 mm (1 ft), with or without stainless steel armour. There are two types of velocity-displacement converters (VDC) available: 9513: for use with the 9200 and 74712 sensors.

Bently Bentley Sensor 9200 Options and Features Features:
Sensitivity: When properly terminated and positioned at the calibration Angle, 20 mV/mm/s (500 mV/in/s) ±5% at 100 Hz (6,000 cpm) and 25 mm/s (1 in/s) zero to peak ±5% at 100 Hz (6,000 cpm)
Frequency response: from the minimum operating frequency (see ordering information) to 1 kHz (60,000 cpm); Typical values range from +0 to ±3dB
Lead length: up to 305 m (1,000 ft) between the bently 9200 and 3300 monitors. Frequency attenuation as length increases.
Use and storage temperature: 9200:-29 °C to +121°C (-20°F to +250°F) 74712: -29°C to +204°C (-20°F to +400°F)
Speed-displacement converter: Model 9513 Requirements: -18 Vdc; Model 46687 Requirements: -24 Vdc, output sensitivity (input 500 mV/in/s)
9513-02: 200 mV/mil (8 V/mm) ±5% ; 46687-01: 200 mV/mil (8 V/mm) ±5%
Frequency range: Minimum operating frequency to 10 kHz (600,000 cpm)
The 9200 two-wire speed sensor can be used with 9513 VDC. The 9513 VDC needs to be ordered separately (see Speed-Displacement Converter).
