The VersaPoint” distributed 1/0 system maximizes compactness and flexibility, while allowing users to install a certain number of 1/0s depending on the needs of each application. Thanks to its support for open communication standards including Ethernet, Profbus-DP “and DeviceNet, VersaPoint can easily connect a wide range of PLCS, DCS and PC-based control systems. It has the same role in packaging and material handling applications as management control and data acquisition.

Excellent flexibility. VersaPoint’s module structure is suitable for a variety of applications. It is suitable for a range of discrete and analog I/0 modules with densities from 1 to 16 points. VersaPoint also supports a large number of dedicated modules, ranging from RTD and thermocouple outputs as well as positioning and counter modules, essentially combining intelligent automation with terminal technology simplification.
