How it works:
The noise sensor is because the sensor has a capacitive electret microphone that is sensitive to the voice, the electret is opposite to the back electrode, and there is a small air gap in the middle, resulting in an air gap and the electret as an insulating medium, and the metal layer on the back electrode and the electret as two electrodes to form a plate capacitor. There are output electrodes between the two poles of the capacitor. Specifically, the total charge of the electret is constant, when the plate is receded under the acoustic pressure, the capacitance decreases, and the voltage between the two poles of the capacitor will be inversely increased, whereas the voltage between the two poles of the capacitor will be inversely decreased when the capacitance increases. Finally, through the field effect of very high impedance, the voltage at both ends of the capacitor is removed and amplified at the same time, and the voltage corresponding to the voice can be obtained. Because the field effect tube is an active device, it requires a certain bias and current to work in the amplified state, so the electret microphone must add a DC bias to work.
