Functional characteristics
High reliability output: 3500/34-10-00 uses three independent relays to provide a relay output, working in conjunction with a dedicated TMR frame interface module and three monitor modules, through a 3 out 2 voting output mechanism, to ensure that the signal can be reliably output when some components fail, greatly improving the fault tolerance and reliability of the system.
Programmable alarm driver logic: Each relay contains an “alarm driver logic” that can be programmed with an “and” or “logic to flexibly configure alarm inputs (warnings and hazards) from any monitor channel or several monitor channels in the frame to meet alarm requirements for different application scenarios. The alarm driver logic is programmed by the 3500 framework configuration software, which is convenient for users to customize according to the actual situation.
How it works: 3500/34-10-00 In the TMR framework, the alarm signal for the alarm drive logic is provided simultaneously by three monitors through three separate data channels. The TMR relay module detects each data channel separately and generates three alarm contact signals, which are sent to the TMR relay I/O module. If the OK status of a data channel is “NOT OK”, the alarm contact signal associated with that channel is invalid, thereby avoiding false alarms or outputs due to a single channel failure.
