The Bently 3500/54 133396-01 is an overspeed detection input/output module that is part of Bently Nevada’s 3500 series of mechanical protection systems. The module is mainly used in the field of industrial automation and machine protection, by receiving speed pulse input signals from proximity or electromagnetic sensors, driving alarms to achieve machine protection.

The module is characterized by high reliability and fast response, which is suitable for overspeed safety applications requiring redundant speed measurement. In addition, it supports local and remote monitoring functions, usually through a network interface. The power supply for this module is direct current, with a typical value of about 24V.

When the speed is detected to exceed the preset safe value, an alarm is triggered or other safety measures are implemented. There are forty-eight (48) terminals in total. Each terminal block is labeled with white lettering. Four (4) connector ports have been placed on the right bezel of the IS200TRLYH1B. Three (3) connector ports are aligned vertically at the edges, with the last one parallel to the connector port at the bottom. Near the center of the IS200TRLYH1B, there is a long row of white and black relays with cube-shaped transparent LIDS. These components have been connected to the PCB by black wire. Each relay has a round black transistor on either side. Paired with each transistor is a round red MOV or metal oxide varistor. Five (5) of these relays are arranged vertically on the top half of the IS200TRLYH1B. Five (5) additional relays have been aligned on the bottom half of the PCB.
