Product description
The 369-HI-0-0-0-0-0-E is part of the General Electric Multilin 369 series of motor management relays. This 369 model, with its upgrades and accessories, is about to be discontinued and is in last purchase condition. After the product line is discontinued, some upgrades can still be added, such as conformal coatings that act as protection against corrosion, heat, dust and moisture.
Multilin’s 369-HI-0-0-0-0-0-E is designed to protect and control the motor and its supporting components. The 369 achieves this through a variety of built-in features, some of which include:
Metering: The 369 can monitor quantities such as voltage, watt, frequency and energy, and generate protection functions based on the generated numerical data.
Activity logging: At the end of the trip, 369 is able to report the reason for the trip immediately, as well as the temperature and data values at the time of the trip, enabling users to analyze problems in the system.
Pre-trip alert: When ground failure, mechanical blockage, RTD overheating and other reasons cause tripping, the 369 can notify the user before tripping.
Characteristics and advantages
Quick response: Relays operate quickly to isolate faulty parts of the circuit, minimize impact and prevent equipment damage and power outages.
High impedance fault detection: Use Arc Sense technology (AST) to detect downed conductors, even on poorly conductive surfaces. The AST algorithm detects the arc generated by some high-impedance fault and will alarm or trip the circuit breaker.
