The AI835/AI835A offers 8 differential input channels for thermocouple /mV measurements. Each channel can be configured with a measurement range of -30 mV to +75 mV linear, or TC types B, C, E, J, K, N, R, S, and T for AI835A as well as D, L, and U.
One of the channels (channel 8) can be configured for “cold end” (ambient) temperature measurement and thus used as channel 1. CJ channel of 7. The junction temperature can be measured either locally on the MTU screw terminal or on a connection unit far from the device.
Alternatively, the fixed junction temperature of the module can be set by the user (as a parameter), or the fixed junction temperature of the AI835A can be set from the application. When CJ temperature measurement is not required, channel 8 can be used with Ch.1. 7 Use in the same way.
