Product description
The DS200TCEAG1BNE is an emergency overdrive plate produced by General Electric for the Mark V series. Also known as the protection processor, the board primarily protects the Mark V by making efficient use of high-speed protection circuitry. The emergency overspeed plate can also introduce automatic synchronization, flame detection, low and high shaft speed signals. The above signals are scaled and adjusted, and then written to the STCA board via IONET. TCEA board can also send emergency trip signal to TCTG(turbine trip board); If enough relays “vote” to trip, the TCTG board can handle this process.
When referring to the GEH-6153 user manual, the hardware configuration is simple. Jumpers J31 and J1 located on the TCEA board are used for testing purposes. TCEA’s jumper J4-J6 establishes the IONET address for the board. Jumper J2-J3 provides IONET terminal resistance. The J12-J21 jumper helps assign overspeed trip frequency Settings, especially for high pressure shafts. At the same time, J8-J11 and J22-J27 jumpers provide the same function for low pressure shafts. Both the Hardware Jumper screen and Appendix A contain more information about hardware jumper Settings. The user manual also details the various other jumpers located on the board.
