About DS3800HUMA1B1C
The GE Universal memory board DS3800HUMA1B1C is designed for quick installation in a drive. One end of the board has a modular connector and the other end has a fixed rod. The GE universal memory board DS3800HUMA1B1C also has a reset toggle switch and a red LED indicator. The board also houses multiple erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) modules and 10 jumpers.
Four jumpers are associated with Quad A, and four jumpers are associated with Quad C. A quadrilateral is a logical division on a chessboard. Each Quad is associated with four modules. The board can support up to 16 modules.
If an error occurs, the red indicator LED lights up. Before using a test device, it is best practice to try to use the reset switch to resolve the situation. The reset switch stops processing and signal sending and receiving on the board without turning off the power. If the error is caused by a signal sequence error, a restart may resolve the problem. Because the development board is powered on, only qualified technicians can restart the development board using the reset button. This will prevent shock and burns.
Quad A and Quad C also populate the test points. If there is a problem with the board, the components can be tested using a fully functional test device. The test equipment must be in good working order and calibrated to perform the test. If a problem is identified, the Board may be a candidate for fixing.
Toggle the switch to temporarily pause processing without disconnecting the board from power. After a restart, processing will resume, which gives the signal an opportunity to restart in the correct order.
