The IC697CPU781RR module is a 16 MHZ 32-bit CPU that supports expandable memory. Modules that can be ordered with the IC697CPU781RR CPU module include 128 KB 32-bit CMOS extended memory (IC697MEM31 module), 256KB non-volatile flash memory 256KB non-volatile flash 32-bit CMOS memory (IC697MEM32 module), 256KB 32-bit CMOS memory (IC697MEM33 module), 512KB 32-bit CMOS memory (IC697MEM35 module) and lithium battery (IC697ACC701). Batteries have a shelf life of 20 years at a temperature of 10 degrees Celsius. The battery can provide up to six months of memory retention without power. The IC697CPU781 module consumes 1.6 amps of current at 5 V DC input voltage. The internal time clock has an accuracy of ±3.5 seconds per day. The RS-422/RS-485 compatible serial port on the IC697CPU781RR module can be used to connect serial programmers or programming computers.
The programmer can also connect to the IC697CPU781RR module in parallel mode via the top port on the bus transmitter interface module. The programmer can also be connected via Ethernet, which requires the installation of an optional communication module that supports Ethernet. The IC697CPU781RR module features support for IC660, IC661 and IC697 I/O modules, configurable date and program memory, software configuration, an 80386DX microprocessor with a clock rate of 16 MHz, key switch memory protection, 12,000 I/ OS and more 8000 analog I/O, 3-bit mode switch and password protected access.
