Product type: Trip emergency terminal card
Series: Mark VI
The IS200TREGH2B is a trip emergency terminal card developed by GE under the Mark VI series. The Mark VI is the final model in the GE Speedtronic family of gas turbine and steam turbine management systems. The Mark VI incorporates redundant backups for turbine flame detection, shaft voltage monitoring and speed input monitoring.
IS200TREGH2B is the terminal board for emergency trip of gas turbine. Three emergency trip solenoids are powered by the card. The I/O controller takes care of it. The board is used in conjunction with the TRPG board. The IS200TREGH2B provides straight-current power to the emergency trip solenoid, while the TRPG provides negative power. TREG boards are available in a variety of configurations; Designed for use in 24 V DC applications, the board connector (JX1, JY1 and JZ1) diode control power is combined to provide redundant power to the status feedback circuit and power to the saving relay.
The card has 12 relays on the board, divided into two rows of 6 each. Nine of them were divided into three groups of three each to control the trip solenoid via voting input. Other board functions are provided by four smaller relays on the board. Along the back of the board, there are three D-shaped (female) connectors.
About IS200TREGH2B
The IS200TREGH2B is a PCB board component created by GE for the Mark VI system. The Mark VI is the last of GE’s Speedtronic series of gas turbine and steam turbine management systems. MKVI includes integrated redundancy backup for turbine flame detection, shaft voltage monitoring and speed input monitoring. The gas turbine emergency trip terminal board device belongs to the Mark VI family of turbine control systems, as known by its full extended product family name, with a range of possible functional applications in GE compatible systems for the management and control of automated drives and automatic drive components for gas, steam and wind turbines. This must be described as a significant functional improvement over the Mark V family of turbine control systems, which is almost identical to the full extended product family name immediately preceding the Mark VI family of emergency trip terminal board products for this gas turbine, Because the Mark VI series was created in part to add the functional environment possible for wind turbines based on alternative energy sources to the gas turbine and steam turbine environments built using the Mark V.
