General specification
Some general technical specifications include:
The operation is realized by simple ladder diagram logic
The module is installed and monitored through debug ports and user profiles
Flex backplane connection through I/O access
MVI94-MCM Functional specifications
Supports storage and transfer between Flex processor data files and up to 5000 registers
User defined module memory usage
The application port can be used as a Modbus master or slave device
Support for Enron’s Modbus protocol for floating-point data processing
Slave station specification
The MVI94-MCM module receives Modbus function code commands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 15, and 16 from the installed Modbus master device. This parameter is set to Modbus
The port of the slave station allows the remote master station to interactively use all the data contained in the module. These data are derived from other Modbus slave devices on the network
(via the master port), or from the Flex processor.
Master station specification
The port configured as the Modbus master device on the MVI94-MCM module actively sends Modbus commands to other nodes on the Modbus network. One hundred (100) per port
An order. In addition, the master port has an optimized polling feature that reduces communication problems when polling the slave station. Flex
The processor can be programmed to execute or send commands directly from ladder logic by actively selecting commands from the command table, thereby controlling the activity of the port.
