The REF610 is a member of ABB’s Relion product family and part of its 610 product family. The series includes protective relays for feeder protection, motor protection and general system voltage monitoring. The roll-in design facilitates switchgear commissioning and allows quick and safe insertion and removal of protective relay plug-ins. The REF610 is primarily used to protect incoming and outgoing lines in resistance grounded and fixed grounded power system distribution substations. The REF610 is suitable for use in Marine and offshore environments. The REF610 offers an optional arc protection feature, as well as a fast substation bus arc fault protection range.
