The 8-channel elliptical low-pass filter input module for SCXI – SCXI‑1141 is a programmable filter module that is ideal for anti-aliasing applications. Although all channels must be set to the same cutoff frequency, you can program the signal of a low-pass filter for one channel to be bypassed individually. The combination of analog filter and switched capacitor filter not only provides 10,000 discrete software-programmable cut-off frequencies for users to choose from flexibly, but also maintains the low noise performance of traditional continuous time active filters. The module also provides an external clock input and output to set the filter cutoff frequency using an external clock in tracking filter applications

NI SCXI-1141, SCXI-1142, and SCXI-1143 are 8-channel programmable low-pass filter modules that are ideal for anti-aliasing applications. You can choose from elliptical, Bessel, or Butterworth filter types. These modules have a common architecture with a programmable instrumentation amplifier and a programmable 8-order low-pass filter on each channel. Although all channels must be set to the same cutoff frequency, it is possible to programmatically bypass the low-pass filter by channel. By using a combination of analog filters and switched capacitor filters (SCFS), these modules provide the flexibility of 10,000 discrete software-programmable cutoff frequencies while maintaining the low-noise performance of traditional continuous-time active filters. The device also provides an external clock input and output, so you can use the external clock to set the filter cutoff frequency in tracking filter applications. Each module can adjust signals from ±50 mV to ±5 V and offers multiplexing and parallel operation modes.
