The National Instruments SCXI-1160 is a universal relay switch module. The module features 16 separate SPDT (Type C) latching relays with very low on-resistance and low thermal offset. Each channel has a normally closed (NC), normally open (NO), and common (COM) terminal.
Multiple SCXI-1160s can use a single DAQ device or switch controller in the same chassis. The DAQ device then controls these modules through serial communication on SCXIbus. The SCXI-1160 has A power capability of up to 2 A at 250 Vrms or 30 VDC, making the relay suitable for switching, routing and controlling mid-level signals.
