Shielding, can achieve fast and convenient signal connection
The NI SCXI-1327 terminal provides a convenient way to connect and disconnect system signals. This terminal is the ideal solution for large channel number temperature or voltage applications.
The SCXI-1327 can extend the input range of the SCXI-1120/D and the SCXI-1121 to ±250 V. It can also extend the threshold level of the SCXI-1126 module from 5 V to 300 V. Enable or disable these extensions by channel using the switch located in the terminal. The SCXI-1327 also includes an onboard temperature sensor for cold-end compensation of thermocouples. With this terminal, the input impedance of the SCXI module is reduced to 1 M.
National Instruments SCXI-1327 High voltage attenuator terminal
The SCXI-1327 (Part number: 777687-27, 185136A-01) shielded terminal blocks have 18 screw terminals that can be connected to the input connectors of the following modules: SCXI-1120, SCXI-1120D, SCXI-1121, SCXI-1125, or SCXI-1126. The user must bypass the attenuator on the drive channel in order to operate accurately with the SCXI-1121. The SCXI 1327 can extend the input range of the SCXI-1120/D and the SCXI-1121 to ±250 V. The terminal can also extend the threshold level of the SCXI-1126 module from 5 V all the way up to 300 V. Switches in NI SCXI-1327 allow or disallow an extended input voltage range for each channel, respectively. The SCXI-1327 also reduces the input impedance of the user’s SCXI module to 1 M.NI
The software can change the thermistor voltage to the thermistor temperature of the NI SCXI 1327 terminal. LabVIEW can be used for this purpose; In the “Data Acquisition and Signal Conditioning” TAB, there is a convert thermistor reading VI. However, if the user uses CVI or NI-DAQ, the Thermistor_Convert function can be used. The VI will then use the output voltage of the temperature sensor, the reference voltage, and the precision resistance to output the thermistor temperature.
The SCXI-1327 terminals can also be calibrated. This terminal should be calibrated once a year, or more frequently if the user’s application is more demanding. If the model is calibrated once a year, it will still meet the measurement accuracy standard. If the performance of NI SCXI-1327 is not within the specification, it may need to be repaired.
