The VMIAC-5595-208 350-805595-208N is a managed hub designed to work with our 5565 series reflective memory real-time networking products. Reflective memory hubs can automatically bypass ports when they detect signal loss or loss of effective synchronization mode, allowing other nodes in the network to remain operational.
Automatic bypass can optionally be controlled by signal loss or synchronous mode loss
Automatically bypass faulty or disconnected nodes in the fiber network
The central assembly can be cascaded with up to 256 nodes
Up to 8 ports are available with small pluggable (SFP) transceivers
Reflective memory product network
Applies to our 5565
Usage scenario:
Home networking: In a home, a hosted hub can be used to connect multiple computers, printers, and other devices to share an Internet connection.
Small office networks: In a small office, a hosted hub can connect multiple computers, printers, and other devices for resource sharing and communication.
Data center or server room: In a large data center or server room, a managed hub can be used to connect multiple servers and storage devices for data sharing and backup.
Advantages and disadvantages:
Advantages: Relatively low price, suitable for small networks; Easy to install and manage; Provides a stable network connection.
Disadvantages: Using the method of sharing bandwidth to transmit data, when multiple ports send data at the same time, it is easy to appear congestion and conflict; Does not have the switching function, can not achieve port management; Not flexible enough for large networks.
