The VMIVME-4140 analog output board offers 32 high-quality analog output channels with 12-bit resolution that can pull out or absorb 10 mA at ±10 V. Each output has A dedicated D/A converter (DAC). The analog output can be disconnected from the field wiring for off-line testing. Calibration and self-test are initiated by the VMEbus system reset or by the execution of software commands. During calibration, the offset and gain coefficient tables are compiled and stored in RAM. There is an offset and gain entry corresponding to each of the 32 channels configured in each of the six output voltage ranges.
