32 optically isolated digital output channels
Open collector output: 30 V and 100 mA
300 VDC optical isolation
The XVME-220 digital output module is a 32-channel digital output module designed for use in VMEbus systems. Each output channel is optically isolated from the system bus, and each channel uses an open-collector configuration to achieve a maximum load capacity of 30 V and 100 mA. All outputs employ transient suppression circuits to minimize the possibility of damage due to high voltage transients occurring in the output application circuit. The 32 output channels are arranged into four (byte wide) output registers. output registers are continuously addressed, allowing access to the output channel in either “byte” or “word” format. To increase system integrity, default initialization disables all output during system power-on and software reset.
Overview
The XVME-220 Digital Output module is a 32-channel, digital output module designed to be used in VMEbus systems. Each output channel
is opto-isolated from the system bus and each uses an open-collector configuration to allow a maximum load capability of 30 volts and
100 mA. All outputs employ transient suppres sion circuitry to minimize the possibility of damage due to high-voltage transients occurring
in the output application circuit.
The 32 output channels are arranged to form 4 (byte-wide) output registers. The output registers are addressed consecutively, allowing
the output channels to be accessed in either the “byte” or “word” format. To add to the integrity
of the system, default initialization will disableall outputs both on system power-up and during a software reset.
