GE Fanuc 90-30系列PLC安装和硬件手册(中文)
Series 90-30 PLC basic part
Series 90-30 PLC is very widely used, 1 because it is programmable, 2 it can choose from a large number of modules, with pins to assemble these modules together for use. Therefore, by choosing the correct and appropriate hardware configuration and developing the appropriate software program, PLC can be applied to almost a variety of occasions. Although there are many relatively independent combinations of hardware configurations within a system, they all have some basic configurations. These configurations are described in separate sections of this manual. In this chapter you will learn how these module configurations fit together

placode
The substrate is the basis of the PLC system, because all other configuration templates must be mounted on the rack substrate. As a basic small unit, every system has at least one substrate, which usually contains the CPU(in some cases, also known as the “CPU backboard”). Most systems require more configuration templates to be installed on the same substrate, and some also require local expansion and remote substrate to be connected to the host frame, so the substrate can be roughly divided into three different types :CPU substrate, expansion substrate and remote substrate, which are divided into 5 and 10 slots according to the visible size. The naming principle is the number of templates that can be installed on the substrate.
Power supply template
Each rack, whether CPU base board, extension rack base board, or remote rack base board, or 5-slot or 10-slot base board, must have its own power supply module. The power supply module is always installed in the leftmost slot of the rack substrate. Various models of power supply templates can be adapted to different requirements.
