This enhanced version of the GE Multilin 469 series protects and controls medium to large motor systems. 469-P1-HI-A20-E-H Unlike most models, it comes with an optional conformal coating; This thin polymer layer helps protect the device from dust, heat, and more. As a result, conformal coatings extend motor life, especially in hazardous operating environments.
​The 469-P1-HI-A20-E-H enhanced panel can be divided into approximately four parts: Includes an RS232 port for connecting directly to a laptop running EnerVista 469, a redesigned keyboard for entering and editing Settings, an expanded 40-character LCD display, and leds for indicating various states within the system.

 

​The “P20” in the 1-P1-HI-A20-E-H model indicates that the relay is compatible with the 1 A phase CT secondary. In contrast to the 5 A phase CT secondary denoted by the “P5” model, the user should ensure that the nominal phase current rating corresponds to the connection and secondary ratings of all connected CTS. Mismatched CT can cause damage to the system over time, and even if this damage does not become immediately apparent, it will undoubtedly lead to weakened protection.
​The relay also has the ability to self-evaluate, assess motor health, and provide configurable alarms to alert users if rotor problems occur. In addition to reducing downtime, this early detection system also reduces troubleshooting time. Indicators related to motor health can also be viewed in GE Multilin’s EnerVista 469 program, which is more efficient than manually navigating the relays’ menus using a keyboard.
