Velocity range
Each of these 2301A controllers can select one of the following speed signal frequency ranges via the internal dip switch:
500 ~1500 Hz 1000~3000 Hz 2000~6000 Hz 4000~12000 Hz
Supply voltage
Woodward controllers are available in two operating power sources: high voltage and low voltage. The low-voltage type requires a working power supply of DC: 20~40
Vdc; The high-voltage models are both AC-DC: 88-132Vac (AC) or 90-150 Vdc (DC).

Description
The Woodward 2301A controller 9905 series is used for the speed of generator sets driven by diesel, gasoline, steam turbine or gas engine
Degree and load distribution control. These types of engines are collectively referred to as prime movers in this manual.
The controller enclosure is a metal shell, inside is a circuit board, and all adjustable potentiometers are on the panel.
The 2301A controller provides two operating modes: Isoch. and Droop.
Constant speed control for prime movers, the range of application is as follows:
• Single machine operation or
• Two or more prime movers are controlled by a load distribution control system from Woodward Governor, working together in isolation
The situation with the power grid.
Base load control for unlimited network (municipal grid) : application of a range of Woodward equipment ⎯ Automatic Power transfer (APTL), input/output
Output controller, generator load controller, process controller, or other load control device.
Differential mode is the speed control based on the load function, and the scope of application is as follows:
• For single and unlimited network operation or
• Simultaneous operation of two or more generator sets
A single-unit speed load control system consists of the following equipment:
• 2301A Controller
• External power supply: low-voltage 20~40 Vdc; High voltage models 88-132Vac or 90-150 Vdc.
• Speed sensor
• Proportional actuators for fuel or gas metering control
• Current (CT) and voltage (PT) converters for determining generator load
Apply
The 9905 Series 2301A controller has four speed signal frequency ranges, which are selected by internal dip switches. Can be selected for specific applications
Suitable scope of work:
• 500 ~1500 Hz
• 1000~3000 Hz
• 2000~6000 Hz
• 4000~12000 Hz
